About Us

Athena Fibers opened her doors September of 2005 in an old Victorian house with a big wraparound porch, the perfect atmosphere for a yarn shop. In the summers we can be found out on the porch knitting, crocheting, or spinning, and in winter we’re inside by the fireplace. Join us Thursday nights from 6pm to 8pm for Knit Night.

Athena Fibers offers something for everyone from novice to expert. Stop in, pick out a pattern, some yarn, take a class, or just sit and visit with your current project. Friendly knowledgeable staff is always available to help with any problem. We offer a wide variety of classes but if you don’t see anything that you like or the times simply won’t work we’d be happy to schedule a private class. No time to knit, we have lots of unique gift ideas for the fiber nut in your life. Gift Certificates are available.
